Demo 4 now available.


This new demo mainly was focused on improving the visuals. There are also physics improvements and small tweaks to gameplay.

The changes to the visuals include 

  • new backgrounds for the "First Sector" and the "City Sector".  
  • All cubes in each sector now have new textures attached to them. 
  • New wall meshes used instead of black blocks.
    • City sector have fences
    • Factory sector uses pipes
  • Addition to level clear animation. The cube now glows entirely green upon completion
  • Outline added to line player draws. -> This is open to change, any feedback regarding the visual quality of the line is greatly appreciated
  • Added decoration to levels.
    • Within the demo it's currently just a traffic light in "City Sector"
    • And extra pipes in "Factory Sector"

The changes to gameplay include

  • Horizontal face change by the ball now pause the ball until the rotation is fully completed
    • This is done to maintain consistency, the hope was for smoother gameplay but allowing the ball to continue moving during cube rotation caused too much inconsistency between game
  • Improved physics detection. The ball moves much better along the lines now, and can maintain its speed much better than before.
    • This means the ball can easily go up small bumps which would have caused it to stop before
  • Better goal point.
    • Goal point now less buggy and more consistently bring the ball into itself if active.
